Who wants an air & water cooled Intercooler for an M90? READ

Technology is changing and getting better with time. A new intercooling option is in planning to become availible very soon to the 3800 world. This project has been done, re-done and redone again in pursuit of design perfection. The final product is ready to be tested to see its true capabilities, and long story short, expect a great product. Thanks to the guys over at Milzy Motorsport, the 3800 modding scene is evolving. Lots of time, money, research and effort went into this kit. After having a long talk with Mike, hopefully my car will be the tester for the finished product. More info will be availible soon. How many of you guys would like to see or concider purchasing a new & improved intercooler for the M90?

need soooooo much more information.

Of course. That's what I'm here for. Dyno numbers, temps, performance with and without ethenol, etc... These things will be confirmed with testing. Ultimately, price will be set to be competitive with performance in mind. What I need to know is who's interested. Supply is nothing without demand.

no, i mean like design sketches, pictures, etc...

where everything goes has a lot to do with a lot of stuff.

Im with Bio. Sounds very interesting but I would want to see installation docs, pictures, other documentation as well as how well this thing works. Cost is going to be a major factor as well.

Interest is what I'm here for. Data is what's in the process. I will bring back the info ASAP. The point of production is to sell them, and I'm sure Milzy has a good understanding of how important the numbers are. I will report back when we know more. Hopefully, with the proper demand, the kit will be availible shortly.

how does it work?

what does it consist of?

what kind of cooling capacity will it have?

who cares about power numbers and cost when we dont even know what this system IS yet.

That's why I want to be the test car. If this thing makes the power I want in. I might ditch e85 and just run ethenol at the strip. A quick easy few (or more likely Big Huge) gain at the switch of a pcm.

I have met with quite a few people recently who have big new Ideas in the Wbody world, but this seems like it could be the best thing cooking up right now. Die hard elite W-body guys like Chris Bauder have raised the idea to start developing a product like this, new functionally vented body parts & etc..I just think it could be just what we need (pending desired results). And by speaking to Mike about the design, it seems like he put a ton of thought & research into it. The economy sucks, and there's still stron entrepenuership in the name of Wbody. So hats off to anyone involved.

Long story short. If they make it, I'm gonna push it, and before they make it, they need to know they can start selling it, and before I push it, I need to know it's worth pushing... That's why I'm hoping to test this thing on my car and soon.

Cost is going to be a major factor since the economy sucks and most people can piece their own intecooler setup for under $600.

Why would they put that much time and money into this process like so stated and THEN start a guaging interest thread? Sounds fishy. They already offer or have offered many variations of the air to water cooled for over 10 years now from alum. to phenolic. The only thing this platform could benefit greatly from now is a more efficient replacement for the M90.
