Can you somehow fit double din in 97-03 gp?

As far as now I couldn't find a way to fit it. And cutting it will make it very ugly.
How about an after market dashboard that designed to be double din?
Is there any?
 


cut and reshape with bondo/fibreglass then paint with duplicolor GM trim paint.

Its been done.

Or pay some guy $200+ for one.

I checked double d mods. It's 110 if u ship yours color is 200$ and that's before shipping costs. Which I think will be expensive cz the size. Takes 5 weeks (w/o a dash)


To do by myself not gonna work. I won't take a risk. Besides to buy tools and paint will cost over a 100.

Is there any website who ectually sells bazles already made double din and charge around a 100?
 


Go to a junk yard and pick up a bezel for $10. Then practice. I picked up 2 dash bezels, a HUD unit with dash piece and controller, and an EGR with pedestal for $60 at a junk yard.
 
Dremel
Sand paper (various grits)
JB Weld
Then find your local SEM paint distributor and check out the color for your dash. I think it's still Graphite.

i bought this bezel from a junk yard for 25 bucks.
and i cut it with a bread knife and buffed it.

No there both the same.. the only thing maybe different is the climate control center and the DIC... but the bezels are the same.. what year is your car?
 


i can add some cheap tips if you want.

tools:
bread knife 2$ or free
sand paper. 5$

now for the finish u can spray clear coating 8$ (like the one for the outside of the car) and itll make it look fresh.

after this u can paint. but dont spray paint it white. trust me. maybe ill do mine shiny blue later. 6$

total 21$
 
Damn!! RaveRockStar if you do that kind'a work with a bread knife what the hell could you do with real tools. Awesome, I say a how to sticky is in order
