Probably been a year or so. Don't worry I didn't blow it up lol just lack of time and money to get everything squared away again. Was making decent money when i started and well got fired so it took longer then originally expected. In a few weeks ill be back up and running. Trust me just about everything in this car is worth more then roof rails lol guaranteed you'll get your money back.

Thanks Nickell, but I was so stoked when I found out I got to keep them, hence them getting polished up. Now gotta figure out what to glue to mount them with.

Now judging from the after pictures, if I had sold them, would $200 have been to much of an asking price?

And did I mention reason why it was sitting is because driving into a construction zone downtown and hitting a pot hole and curb does wonders on your rims and tires :)

No way. I see them go for $200 with some damage and usually being dark metallic and needing paint. Guaranteed they probably would of been sold within that day.

So I guess they where a definite WIN, that situation was an awkward one for me cause that kind of stuff doesn't happen to me.

Yup lol one hell of a ride. That's why it was sitting for awhile. Took some time to get the money to buy new rims and tires then since I had something to drive during these times went ahead and figured ill stop b/s and put the parts I had sitting in my garage to good use.

What made it worse was those rims and tires were far from cheap :(

Insurance seemed to give me the run around because they were aftermarket etc and that I didn't notify them to add an additional coverage. Ended up going back and forth with them and ended up just dropping them and taking the lost.

Drove it 45 mins home ;) man did that ride sucked lol. Had to use 2 of my stock rims which those tires were dated from 03 from the factory wouldn't hold air for s**t and had no grip. Looking back at it now it was a retarded move should of just had it towed but was broke at the time and didn't want to leave my car in the part of town.

Yup so many shades of gray when it comes to insurance. I had progressive before I took the insurance off and will be getting them again they've been rather good when it comes to our other vehicles needs body shop repair.

I had them, I have 21st now cause they are less $$ and they offer free tow and road side assit on my GTP:D , progressive only offered road side assit ONLY on my wifes 08 Jeep.

Haven't bothered shopping around again since the insurance is in my dads name is was pretty cheap for full coverage probably just stick with them and avoid the hassle of switching. At least now cars paid off so maybe ill just do liability.

Yeah insurance can be such a pain. I used to have a Honda Civic ( i know i know racekar lol) and it was stolen, was such a dang pain with the insurance I had. Then the place they wanted me to go to so I could get it fixed was nothing but a joke. Wanted me to pay an insane price for all used parts they couldn't guarantee they could even get. I just took the money from it and sold the thing.
