So my smog test has been overdue because I've been swapping in all stock parts and its sucked. Made the stock air boxfit from my grand am because I cannot find one for the gtp. They required a new "star" smog certification. They have begun ranking all smog shops in terms of pass/fail ratios, making star certified shops the top percentile of fails and rarely passing a car. I managed to pass visual and emission with flying colors even though my Max values are really tight "about 40% lower than my dads 98 4cyl cavalier" but I failed functionality because appearently I cannot connect a scan tool for a certain amount of drive cycles as required by the state, even though the ecm hasrelearned the current setup for like 2 weeks now and there havebeen no codes to clear! I was watching data stream last night to check o2 values and what-not. Thought I was doing a good thing but not according to the state of California lol
