Just put on today!! Fronts are 225/50/18 Rears are 225/45/18. They ride smooth. They handle so much better than my stock GT wheels.

I understand width differences because the GXP wheels are staggered...but why the sidewall differences?

Should have went 245/45/18 all the way around.

225/45/18 are only 25.97" tall
225/50/18 are 26.86" tall

No reason to stagger the height.

I payed $300 for rims and tires. Tires are brand new. Rims never used in the winter. But i had to drive 3 hours to get them. Only reason for the tire difference is because thats what came on them. I guess the gxp came this way stock
 
I merged your thread to make it one and redid the title.

Just keep adding picture to this one when you do something new, anytime you want to change the thread title again, just go back to the first post and then advanced edit.

That's probably just tire size that the previous owner stuck on the wheels. But that's not the stock tire sizes for the gxp. But if u ever change out the tire size go same all around...that's me assuming u have 18x8 rims all around

Marine the title is different now, before it said 8" blah blah, thats why in my earlier post I thought it would strange.
Looks like somebody figured GM wouldn't approve and changed it. He could still run 245/45/18 all around with the stock sizes. But geesh 300 damn fine find.

Im pretty sure two are 18x7 and other two are 18x8


And on the taillights, I put 4 coats of VHT Nightshade... And about the tails showing light threw them, I would say 70% of the light is showing threw them. Just a rought estimate. I was following the car home from the tint shop.
