search bar is invisible and has been for as long as i've been here. the only people that should be upset about repeat threads (like this one hee hee) are servers and people who pay for the server space. and some of the how to's aren't very detailed and not every project is the same. i read some of the how to's, not only here, but on other sites and goolge and youtube (and watch videos) and every single time my project goes differently than the how to went. on the off occasion i can actually help someone i try to be very detailed and not speak car jargon without explaining what the words mean and fill in the gaps on the how to's. i just did a harmonic balancer on a mini van and ive never done one before on anything. well, google was wrong about the steps that were necessary and several of those "ask a mechanic" called for dropping half the subframe 6 inches. I wasn't even close to having to do that. i had to modify the balancer removal tool to make it work and use the installer differently than the videos showed. in fact i posted on here and scottydoggs was kind enough to give me a few pointers even though i was posting about a minivan with a 3.4 in the 3.4 grand prix section. point is, there aren't dumb questions. everyone starts somewhere and every little bit helps. just about everything i've learned about cars is from google searches, asking people, and nice people answering, what may be dumb questions, on internet boards. we dont all start from the same point.

I didn't know it was there until someone pointed it out. ironically, i typed what i was looking for into it and found nothing that helped and wound up with a new thread anyway. i'm not new to the internet or forums, by the way.

that kid that posted all those threads about his exhaust.......he's a kid. maybe he doesn't have an idea of which key words to type into search engines? from the looks of it he got flamed pretty good too. and for what? because he doesn't know proper forum etiquette? maybe he just started a new one hoping the same people wouldn't make fun of him and wouldn't notice or look in his new one. maybe people pissed him off and he just egged it on. you were a kid once, right?
 


i didnt actually get a computer at all in my house when i was a kid till i was like 12. but i never really wanted one cause i lived on a farm and there was so much more fun stuff to do there

i had zelda. and a girlfriend and sports. i didnt learn anything about cars or computers or guitars until i moved out. therapy:th_crying1: my brother got the "farm" after i moved out and now he's a fake redneck with a lifted dodge.
