Pictures of engine bay color schemes?

I did black and silver with a little red.

Neutral colors are where it's at. If you do yellow, make it a secondary color (dont go overboard and paint everything yellow)

Cleanest GP engine bay I have ever seen to this date.

Well, actually the ribs are polished and cleared. I wanted to just do them silver but got a little rambunctious.

that looks great how it turned out. im still working on my engine bay detailing but im waiting on my new msd wires to come in before i pull the coil packs and a few other things on the ls4 off for painting. what kinda paint should i use on the coil packs since they get hot? engine enamel? and should i clear coat

They won't get hot enough were you would have to use engine enamel. It's purely optional but duplicolor perfect match is fine.

I never recommend painting coil packs...but if you must, a light coat of duplicolor should be ok. Last coil I ever painted overheated and gave me a nice no start condition. As for clear, use a quality clear coat. Duplicolor clear will come off with gasoline, brake clean, and probably even water. LOL

Just.......couldn't.........HELP MYSELF.

I really couldn't. LOL I started sanding them after I painted the red and they just got shinier and shinier...then they were polished. :)
