Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Anyone have experience, good or bad, with these headlights

Just love it when people respond back that things have been discussed before. Heres an eye opener for ya...had I seen that it had been discussed before I wouldnt have asked. The thing about forums like these....there is alot of info on them. My time isnt unlimited and I do take the time to do a quick search but I dont have alot of time to go sifting through each and every post. If its to much for folks to offer advise or a link to the post containing the answer, dont provide some smart ass comment like its been discussed before. That sh*t pisses me off.

The headlights are great looking but functionality isn't great. I have a set of Halos on my Pontiac and it is difficult to see while driving at night. If you live in a city area where there are lights then they should be ok. Out in the country, it will be difficult driving at night

Thanks for the input. I do get out at night and if these headlights don't provide good forward vision than I think I will pass on them. I do like the appearance but they need to be functional as well. Been reading up on HIDs and think that I will go that route once I have a better grasp on getting the most out of them. Thanks again for the input.

Yes i will agree with smitz, the light output on those suck!! Factory headlights produce more light that those. I decided to make my own retrofits and by golly, its like I am driving during the day when they are on at night....literally. I am selling my retrofits to make different ones. If your interested in my retrofits PM me. Thanks

Those eBay projectors are trash dont waste your money. If anything do a retrofit you'll be way happier.

A set I did before I put the lenses back on

Used a old moist towel. Wrapped it around the headlights and out them in the stove for about 10-15 mins on 300 degrees and took a old flathead and pryed them open. You could also do this with a heat gun just takes a bit more time. If you get oem replacement headlights its pretty easy to get the lense off. Oem is another story and a pain in the ass to get apart.

I just so happen to have a new set of AM Auto Parts headlights a customer ordered and never came in to pay for or get them installed.

Thanks. Do ya have some pics of your retros?

Ya I do sorry I didnt responsed right away.

What these retrofits consist of
-H1 bixenon projectors
-Gatling Gun 2.0 Shrouds
-LED Halo rings (A lot brighter than CCFLs)
-4300k HID bulbs
-35w ballasts
-Clear corners

These are very bright and beat factory light output greatly.
