Tried to run a newer Stang GT

Saturday night I was driving to work (highway) and a newer style GT floored it by me, I pulled up next to him and he was getting ready to gun it.... and he did but I saw some traffic coming up so I didn't punch it. I caught up to him again with a clear road ahead of us and he wouldn't go with me. He waved me off laughing... I guess he thought I was racing him at first and I wasn't worth it for a second time. I tried for several minutes but he wouldn't go. Pending that his car was stock how would I have faired at a 60mph roll with him?
 


If by newer you mean 06-07 ive seen them run high 13's low 14's at the track,so they have a pretty good top end..(Driver mod)
Ours suck specially when stock.
So i'm guessing he would of pulled on you, specially on the top end.:eek:
It be good if he would of run u, at least to know the outcome.
Get some mods on that baby and let em know what you have under de hood.
 
yea i figured he would take me, I was expecting that, but it pisses me off that he thinks he burned me... haha
 
maybe next time... i would've liked to have talked to him and been like "hey man, I got an HPTuners... give me some money and you can use it" haha
 


I killed this two kids on a honda accord and a civic the other day on my way to work, I hit 98 on a 45 open road street. Made my whole day :D

agreed.. I just need to get my some headers and build my trans to set myself up for better things....


so many things I want and I have to be patient with it
