Kay so I've been a member on here for quite some time and I have read through the Safely Modding your 3800 and tons of other threads.

Now here is my idea. A lot of the mods I'm not sure I would do on a 217,xxx mile engine such as cam and what not. So i just wanna see what you guys think about this mod list I have going, any suggestions or opinions won't hurt.

SD headers.
Intense Shift kit
Hv3
ER rockers? (any help.?)
And a tune.

All I'm really looking for gas mileage. EDIT: also a lil bit more power than just the 200 <
(its late lol)
I just don't know if it would be a good idea to get too touchy with the internals, seeing as the car is still okay.

:D

Yes to all...except I would go w/ a trans go shift kit instead...I imagine having the tires chirp with those kind of mileages would only put more wear and tear in the tranny..plus it's cheaper :) and save some money in case something does brake.

Instead of intense if do transgo just cause of number of miles on it

gas mileage? intake, headers, good plugs and wires and a tune. if you wanted to do a little extra for more gain, HV3 and any rocker upgrade are good ideas...now the shift kit im not sure if you will get any extra MPGs out of

Oops I forgot to add in a lil bit of power... Edited in to the OP... Its late lol

Yeah already have intake + good wires and plugs.

You got ninja'd!! Shift kit isnt going to do anything as far as MPG is concerned but will help any more potential wear on the clutch plates..a cheap upgrade that will improve shifts. Honestly you'll probably be happy with either headers or a plog, HV3, intake and a nice tune. If you still want a but of power go the rocker route or shall I say turbo or topswap :)

How much money u looking to dump into this car...the more money u got the more ideas I have for ya

I don't really wanna top swap cause of the fact that it's stable right now, and I'm not going to put money into a turbo setup. This car is worth like nothing haha I just want a bit more pep ya know?

Edit: I really only wanna do no more than 800
Cheap I know, but when I paid a lil less than 2k for the old P.o.s xD

If I sell the car, I am not sure I'd end up back with a W-body honestly

U thinking bout being a traitor..ur in the w-body family now and u can't get out...u don't wanna know the consequences of even thinking that

Just the other day (well months ago) he was talking about what other car to get and then wanted a Miata..now he wants to start modding...hmm traitor or did you come to your senses ? :)

LOL I'm getting double teamed here....
I honestly might end up having to get something more fuel efficient as a DD when I move to Phoenix this July.

But not that I don't love this car... I really do.... I just wish it had one thing that it doesn't have anymore....

Rocker panels :p

Hey what do you expect when I see so many Craigslist links from cars you were thinking about getting and now I see this lol. Not worth fixing the rocker panels anyways considering GP are a dime a dozen now a days. I wanted something more fuel efficient myself but I have yet to find anything that would enjoy driving as much as the GP with equal power so ill stick my 20MPG plus its not bad considering I drive my Dads 08 Silverado LTZ until I decide to fix the GP and prior to that I drove a Cadilliac Deville that got a whopping 14MPG..so I never complained about MPG with the GP.
