I had a 97 coupe a while back and loved it. I just became the luckiest guy on the planet! I found a 2000 Daytona 500, one of 2000 sold in prestine condition. Owned by a sharp mechanic and totally tricked out. I will get pictures up soon. I have not even programed the radio yet. Until later I am reading all your cool posts! It's going to be an awsome summer!!

I would pester you about taunting us with no pics.... But it took me a few days to get them up of my car. but after a week if no pics, Im voting for the ban hammer...

Thanks! I havent had a chance to open it up and play yet it's to much snow here and I want it in good shape this spring. The wheels are "ATS" they are nice for that car. I will run it out to a bodyshop next month and I expect to use the silver as a base and apply some clear with a touch of pearl to tone it down a bit. It's really too shiney for my taste. The seller put a lot of tricks on it now it's my turn. Anyone finding chrome engine parts off the shelf?
 
Yes that's where I found it. The seller is a five star gentelman and mechanic. I keep finding suprises he never mentioned! I am very pleased. It's the fastest car I have ever driven on the street. He had no reply to track times but he threw in rear coil boosters for the track and just grinned saying "dont hit the bottle untill you have made a few passes"
