LED reverse lights?

I was thinking of buying these LEDs lights for my reverse lights. Will they fit in the housing without any modding? On my last car (Grand Am GT 97), I had to file the opening to make it wider for the LED bulbs to fit. Will I have the same problem with the Grand Prix?

Pick up a set of the 5w cree led reverse light bulbs, they are f in amazing, output is rediculous. Look in my ride thread in my sig and see for yourself

Alright. Good Idea! I have a Cree LED flashlight and it shines through daylight! I am glad they fit just fine. Going to order Cree LED next week :D Just bought some Sliver Star Ultra bulbs on eBay, for my headlights.

Checked your pictures out, what a night and day different!

Not the reverse lights, they are 3157 just like normal reverse bulbs. 5 watt cree facing out with a projector lense, and I believe 12 Smd led's facing sideways

Had some in my old gt? Factory housing melted a bit in the front, but I picked up some aftermarket factory fogs from napa, had hids in them for lil more than a year and no melting problems whatsoever.

I guess I got to buy new housing for the fog, what kind do I need and how to I replace the fog housing?

Call up napa and say I'm looking for got light housings for whatever year your gp is. Either that or do what a lot of guys do and buy the blazertec fogs and retro them in the old stock ones place. I personally had no problems with the hids in the new factory housings, and even during the summer sitting in traffic with no air moving over them they didn't melt or discolor
