Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

RX330 retrofit into 2007 Grand Prix GXP.

Wow lol sounds crappy lol. Well really the only projectors he's going to be able to fit in a 97-03 without hacking up the whole projectors is the Morimoto mini

Yeah they are horrible! Never even used the bi xenon part cause it made no difference lol. Looking on YouTube, these things have some pretty ballin output. On of the best vids is on a older Toyota tacoma, output is sick! I'm hoping these xb-35 bulbs are brighter like they are supposed to be compared to the normal morimoto h1's, best h1 bulb they sell he said

Wouldn't say the XB35 are the best. They're the second best as far as H1 is concerned. The Philips H1 are then best cost $70 or so those blew the XB35 out the water but looks like they don't sell those anymore ;( still have my pair though :)

Sorry, I knew the Phillips were the best, but they ain't got em! Just like you said. You like the xb-35's?

Ya the bulbs are on a spring and electo magnet setup And yes the high beams don't do much, just a little more distance on them. I was looking at the H1 mini on trs. Looks like my best option for the small housings of the 01 gtp. I think they can only run the H1 bulbs also. So if I buy a set of h1 bulbs and a set of h1 mini bi-xenon projectors i will still have low n high beams (but will it show up on the dash that u have ur brights on?). Thanks for all the help so far.

Yup! You wire your high beam power wires the the pig tail coming out of the solenoid, look up the videos on YouTube, pretty good info

Hvac answered it. It's simpler oil see once you have the projector in your hands. 2 wires. A positive and a ground wire.

Ok cool. I know my harness i have on the car now plugs into the original car harness that controls the low and high beams. Guess i wound just hook the power wires from the projectors into them to do the same function.

Do you need to paint the inside of the housing? I seem some leave it reflective and some paint black. Is it just a pure visual of what you like or will it make a difference with light output?

Pure cosmetic. When you have projectors nothing is reflecting on the reflector so you could either paint it or leave it chrome your choice.

Do you need to buy the Morimotos bulbs to work in the projector house our will other brands work also.

If you can, always go OEM bulbs. (i.e. Phillips or Osram Sylvania.) Morimoto aren't bad either, though.

why no pic of on kar?

I'm trying as fast as I can! I just got them and the ballasts in the mail haha. I'll be posting up a pic of everything as soon as possible. All I can say is the cutoff is MIND BLOWING and the painted shield looks incredible..

You think it's worth the extra 60 bucks? Or should I just wait

Once again, always go OEM (I think you did if I read your posts correctly.) Denso ballasts are the ones that come standard on your Lexus' and Toyota's - so you know you won't be disappointed.

If your doing a retrofit, deff a bi xenon projector. I had bi xenons in my 01 in stock housings and didn't like em too much. And you will get a LOT better output with a projector

Not necessarily true. In fact, more often than not, standard single xenon projectors are better quality and will yield more light output due to a stationary shield. That's why I decided to go RX330. They lack a bi-xenon function but they MORE than make up for it in light output. I'm going to be putting my bi-xenon Morimoto Mini H1's in the high beam position to maintain high beam functionality.

However, in a 97-03, I know you guys have only one headlight "capsule" so it is (most likely) impossible to do a quad retrofit on your vehicles.

Does not make any difference. Simply aesthetics and all personal preference.

Konig iwas talking about bi xenon bulbs!!! Not projectors. Any projector will have better output than the stock 97-03 headlights

And sorry for the cancellation, but no pictures for tonight. It's raining out and I don't feel like getting little rain drops on my lenses..

So tomorrow.

Apology accepted, and was going to go with the desno ballast, but they were backorders as well, BUT when they told me that the guy zac was like hold on.......oh ups just came and so did the 3-5 ballast, your good to go haha shipped today and will be here for Xmas :-D I saved my old housings so that tomorrow I can take em apart paint them and do clear corners so that I'm ready to go for the projectors. If you are doing halos, what are you hooking them up to? Drl?

You won't be disappointed with the 3Five's. If I didn't get such a good deal on the Denso's, I was ready and willing to go 3Five.

And as far as the angel eyes, I would recommend tapping into the sidemarker or something that is always on (not sure of the schematics or light setup on 97-03's). That way they'll be on all the time. Either that, or wire them to direct power (i.e. fuse) and run them with a switch if you want to independently control them.

Well since the 04 I have uses the turns as the drl I figured I'd wire them into there, using them as part of the turn signal would be pretty cool I think since I have switchbacks in there already. And id like to take the halogen high been out since I won't be needing it with the bi xenon projectors, I was thinking of putting a high power led 9005 bulb in there and wiring it up the same, you thing it would look gaudy or too much?
