for those who own sd air dam

in illinois its 34 up front and i beleive same in the back or the combo of any tint in the back but non upfront
 


MN is 50% on side windows unless its a SUV. And they are pretty strict on enforcement if ya cross paths with a State Trooper. Local law enforcement agencies are hit and miss as to gettin gpulled over for tint. The ricers in St Paul/Minneapolis tint right down to 5%. City cops don't seem to bother em much
 
iowa tint laws - you can have any percent on the back windows, front windows can not have any tint at all unless its factory tinted privacy glass.
 


Will be redoing mine in 15% all around since my tints bubbling. Don't need 5% anymore I had that done when I had tan interior but have since swapped to black so it's not needed anymore.
 


i shoudl email pfyc and play the guilt trip how my son wants one for christmas and its the only thing he wants and i feel awful becasue id buy him one but i cant afford the shipping, and it would mean the world if i were to get him it
 
I am getting ready to start the visual mods on my GTP..I was going to get one of those lips..but in order to ship to me, they wanted 160. I AM however getting an SD hood either brand new..or from a demod if there's one when I get my check in a few weeks. Once I saw the shipping price for the air dam, I said to hell with it..the parking lot I have to get in for work would probably ruin it anyway lol
 
its the same problem with the hood it is more for shipping on that thing lol. i almost bought a sd hood but it was 850 for paint on it and then they spider crack
 
The quote I got for shipping the hood is 180 for business addy and 280 for residential...the property next door to my house(which also happens to be owned by my step dad) is commercial property, may use that addy and see if I can get the shipping for 180..if not, my uncle has a shop not far from my house lol
 


That shipping is ridiculous. 4 years ago, I paid $490 for a 4" Harwood cowl hood (glass) for my Camaro and it was only $90 to ship it to a business. I'm in the same boat, I love the hood and would love to have one for my car. Kind of pricey for just an appearance mod IMO, and finding one used within a 2 hour road trip is next to impossible.

PA tint is that you can have it completely blacked out on the sides and rear glass, but the front windows and windshield must be stock. I got pulled over once for tint in my other ride (TBSS), front windows were tinted to match the rear factory.

I agree that the shipping is ridiculous, however I REALLY want the hood. I am expecting a check in the next couple of weeks and I am getting the hood among other things, in the mean time I am looking for a hood that is relatively local, but in the Delaware, Maryland, PA, VA area..its rare :(...Unfortunately, the cost of living has gone up and has made the shipping costs go up..and I guess we just gotta deal with it now :\ On the note of tint, I want so badly to have 20% all around, but it is "illegal" to have tint on any of the front windows in the great state of Delaware(note sarcasm here..haha)
