• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Porting s/c

Matt Palm

WHERES THE LAMB SAUCE?!?!
So if i were to get my gen 3 ported would i want just outet done or inlet and lim also. I know its a flow mod but will i gain any power out of it? I will get a lot more whine correct

I do believe the outlet (making it into a triangle instead of an arrow) is the more common, easier part of porting the SC. I believe it allows more flow, less build up, and cooler temps? As for the inlet and LIM, i do not know. I'd also like to know cause I'd like to port atleast the outlet myself when i get a cam installed

From what I could learn researching before I ported my blower the gains are usually none to minimal, I would block off the silencer ports while you are at it though, make the blower even louder! Just my .02

pics of the porting i did on mine if you have a dremil it can be done pretty easy. Just takes some time if you want it done well.
