• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

TeeWX's 2001 SSEi

Would have loved to get a Bonnie but finding one for sale that was in good shape was nearly impossible. Congrats on the new ride!

I agree! That's why I decided to jump on this one. At first I was trying to be picky with color but quickly found out that just wasn't going to work if I wanted to get one for a good price and in good shape! So far I'm loving this car though. The seat & mirror memory where it automatically sets up the car for you to drive depending on what remote you use to open it is just awesome.

Wow sounds like it has lots of stuff to play with. lol. I like cars like that.

Ever tried modding a Bonneville? NOBODY makes aftermarket parts for them.
I'm assuming you mean cosmetic. That's because they are luxury cars, and look great as they are. And it would look like a monkey's ass riced up. All just my opinion, of course.

Waiting on Smelly to post some stuff. Hell...go look up some of the ride pics from 2003 SSEi, he's taken the car to a whole new level in my opinion.

You can lower it
You can upgrade the struts/shocks/sways/STB from the GXP
You can smile that the damn headlight bracket isn't made of brokeninasecond material. And clearing them is a 10 minute process.
Comfy seats...did I mention that 100 times yet? Comfy seats, comfy seats...comfy seats (and ...they suck compared to the ei seats from the 90's)
So much you can do. All engine mods fit better.
Just take a look at the coil pack bracket and think..... no interference with an IC on the engine.

Pat - I wasn't saying it wasn't possible..but its not just ordering and bolting things on. I have looked through almost all your threads and most of your mods are custom and completely awesome!!

For instance..your head lights, rear center console, rear heated seats, gage pod, carbon fiber wraps, upper engine mount...etc. Everything mentioned isn't just a purchased and bolted on.

I guess I should have said the efforts to modify a Bonneville Cosmetically are much greater.
