GTP Badge overlays

So the other day my GTP Emblem fell off. For some reason it will not stay back on my door. I was wondering if the badge overlays are just decals that I could just put in the place of the emblem. Anyone know?

They're usually put on the badges themselves, however you could still put it right on the door if you wanted to. If you want to reattach the badge just get all the old adhesive off and use some 3M double sided tape to reattach it. Should stay on then.

There you go, got a non cracked badge and if the tape is not working. You should try to use 3m emblem adhesive in the tube but it can be messy so get some rags with wax and grease remover or water before you start.

Proper use of two sided tape...... clean the area with a degreaser (I use brake clean), warm the badge with a heat gun for 5-10 seconds, apply the tape, warm the area you wish to stick the badge to for 5-10 seconds then apply the badge. If it is really cold, warm the applied badge with the heat gun for another 5-10 seconds and put pressure on the badge for another few seconds.

I have used this method in freezing weather, and to mount HID ballasts upside down. The tape always held as it should.
