Hey guys, i have exchanged a couple of emails with will about ordering a TCM tuned for 3.29's for my 2008 GXP. We exchanged a few emails then i paypal'd him the money for the order on the 16th of july. The last i heard from him was the 13th of July. I have emailed him several times and no luck. No word of it being shipped, no contact whatsoever. if anyone has his phone number i would appreciate you either giving him a call and asking him whats up or make sure he emails me back. Im not asking for it to be handled right a way but i would really like a status update and preferrably a ship date. the car was dropped off at my trans guy last night and the 3.29's will be in soon and i really need the TCM to be able to drive the car. So if anyone knows how to get ahold of him please do and let me know whats up i really dont want to open a paypal dispute and have the money tied up for a while. Even if he doesnt have time right now or anything and wants to refund me that would be fine too ill go through someone else.

I apologize for making a big deal, I've just been screwed online a few times and
the lack of communication worried me a little but. But will did email me today
and its on its way. Thanks again
 
Hey dont even worry about it, i ordered with will a couple of weeks ago and didnt hear anything from him at all either. I payed him and everything nothing he replys every monday it seems he sent me a message saying that he sent it so it should be on the way. I heard that he is the best in what he does and its well worth the wait.
 
Will is a one man show. I think he does this as a side job so its even less time for him to respond to emails and questions on various message boards.
 
Yea but its a good thing he takes his time to the make the product perfect. It would make me a little nervous if i ordered it and the next day it was on its way already. Besides from what i heard it could take up to two weeks to get that pcm because us customs likes to **** around
 


I've dealt with Will before, and as it was stated this is just a side hobby, it's not his real job... he also has a family and other interests, etc. It's understandable it takes him some time, especially being such a popular tuner I could imagine he has a work load. He told me he only ships twice a week, I think.

So yeah, there have been times I emailed him about a question and he took a week to get back, or didnt get back at all and I had to keep pushing it to get a response. He definitely will get you your product, though, dont worry.
 
I am bumping this thread rather than starting a new one.

Is there any way to get a hold of him other than email? I am also in Canada like Will, and it has been 32 days since I ordered. I have also emailed him near half a dozen times without a response yet. I just wanted to know if anyone has waited over a month? Like I said, I'm in Canada too, so there should be no transit/border issues.

Good luck... I never received a response I ended up filing a claim and PayPal returned my money... best of luck.
 
I thought I updated this thread... he sent the tcm. But it was way way wrong... car went into full line pressure, stabilitrack wouldn't turn on/off you name it it was wrong... after I emailed him I never received anything about making it right.
 


Can anyone confirm the time period in which you are allowed to file a claim with paypal? I believe it to be 45 days. I want to give Overkill a few more days to let me know whats up, because I'd really like to get his tune rather than file a claim. The majority of people seem to love his work.
 
Mine took awhile too..i got ahold of him on the other forum listed above...turns out his paperwork got shuffled and I was at the bottom of his stack...he promptly apologized and gave me a discount on my PCM...so Will is solid in my book:D

How long did he take to get back to you? I'm nearing the time I have to file a claim with paypal.
 
I am thinking it was 2 days? Can't be sure...worst case is you get your refund and he answers you at a later date...can always do it again...
