Windy days and idiots that don't know it's windy

Took my oldest son to his soccer game on Thursday, parked kinda in the middle of nowhere (not intentionally, just parked by the wrong field, and no one else was parked out there). Winds gusting 20-30 mph throughout the day made for an interesting game. After the game, we're walking back to the car, and there are now cars around mine as some other teams had shown up for practice. I then notice a large ding with white paint in the rear drivers door. My car is NOT white. Apparently whoever was getting out of the car parked next to mine failed to realize just how windy it was, and their door slammed into mine when the wind got a hold of it. Saturday, my wife noticed white smudges on the outside of the rear view mirror, so apparently the same thing happened to whoever was in the FRONT of the car parked next to mine, so Scooter got hit by both the front and back doors of that white car.

And no, the car next to mine when I got back to my car was NOT white. Apparently they moved after their doors hit my car. Grrr....

why did it have to be the wind? you know how many times i seen people just fling their doors open because they dont give a ****? like, hundreds.

Matt...you did them a great service. That kinda wind would have really messed up their car doors had yours not stopped them.

we're talking about a ball field, 3 doors are opened by kids, who give a sh1t about nothing right then, except for playing ball. excitement will get ya every time.

even if it was the wind, kids have no concept. and you know it was the kids getting out, not adults.

True - it wasn't necessarily the wind, but the fact that it was both front and back, and judging by the dent, I'm guessing it was wind assisted. I've had my door ripped out of my hand before, and know that story. Just frustrating. 2001 car with no dings or anything in it until Thursday. Ugh...lol
