Yes lol thats what i was asking...

I'm a little out of it today

I drop motors in and sometimes they fall right into place. Other times..a little work is needed. All depends on your luck at that moment.

If you checked the how to section....I'm sure you'd find something with my name on it. :th_thumbsup-wink:

i changed both my lower mounts solo. its so doable.

all you need is a jack and a 2x6 thats 2 feel long to span the oil pan and trans pan to lift the engine up a few inches, also unbolt the top strut mounts.

heres a vid how to do the trans mount, the motor mount is the same deal. the top bolts are just a bit harder to get off being under the oil pan a bit.

there are 3 parts to this vid.

I think you both are a couple of wusses. I find that a shallow 15mm socket and the thin head ratchet do the job with ease.

What can I say..I have a few tools.

But i got it....

Think i needed a new motor mount?

Top bolts were tough...because of one of the following

1, You are a wuss.
2. You don't have the right tools.
3. You did it wrong.

I'd aim at using a basic socket wrench.
Having 3 shots in my dominant arm last night.
And 200,000 miles. Its the original mount lol
