Well.. My grandparents said Memphis used to be a great place, and then around the time I was born, Mayor Herenton took office. Well he stayed in office up until just a few years ago. He was terrible. Anyway, Mayor AC Wharton is in there now. He's a decent guy he used to come into outback when I worked there. Nice fella.

But yeah. Herenton=failure of memphis from what I gather.

I need to vent...At work, I was under the impression we stop taking color 3 hours prior to closing. Well someone called and asked about it. Little did I know people at the management meeting at the owners place were making prank calls to the stores to test them. Well low and behold 10 minutes later my boss calls, didn't even say hello, just JUMPS down my throat about it right. I'm like well I was told it was 3 hours prior to close, I know now that it's 2 hours. Well this went on for a bit, she just kept jumping down my throat. THEN the lies. She tells me our store was called out in the meeting and people laughed. -__-

So yeah I felt foolish at that point. Not just a little bit later I hear it through the grapevine from someone who was at the meeting that nothing was really even said about it, she just flipped out and called me. WTF lady

Idk...I'm so over this joint. I've never seen the leader of a team lie on their employees like she does. A good boss would defend us if ever a question was raised about us.
