• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Project Race-Hearse

That's always how I've done them.

Fun fact: someone local is having a set of heads done and has an S1X on my shelf. He inquired about what it would take to run 1.8's on top of the S1X. In discussion etc he says.. "now where can I get a set of 1.8's at a decent price w/o buying new?". I dialed Sneakers, I mean Squeakers... aww whatever Swigglet's name is.. lol. Sure enough, I think they deal goes down today. Just so you know Jason, you might be delivering on your way past. Just toss them out at mile marker 65, I'm pretty sure that's right by exit 6.

On the missing exhaust bolt. That seems to be getting more common on the GM stuff. Truck has two missing heads on exhaust bolts. I bought it new and know how little has been done to it. They disappeared on their own.

i need to remove my friends exhaust manifold on his 05 Chevy dump truck because the front manifold bolt head broke off. it left threads sticking out still thank god.

my own 03 had all the bolts loosen up on the exhaust manifolds and the rear bolt fell out. seems to be a iron bolt into a aluminum head type problem to me. nothing heats up or cools at the same rate.

being under warranty i took it to the dealer to have the ticking i could hear fixed, and don't ya know they couldn't fix or find a problem. boy did i rub that one in their faces. dealers do suck.

The hearse had cast iron heads from the factory and cast manifolds. IDK why it'd snap unless someone was playing in there. The new heads are aluminum F-body pieces. Hope they work as well as they look! LOL

Jason..on your way past, do you want to pull the manifolds on my truck and put in new bolts. I have them. Just afraid to do it. I also need to do the intake. Figure it's the right time in case the bolts don't come out. heck..you could do that too. Give me a call.. I'm serious ... no time, and depending on the $$ we could possibly do this.
