its cool bro. keep looking. it took me over a month to find mine and i was on my way to look at another when it popped up on CL. I called the guy and told him i blew a tire and turned around and jetted to where mine was. i talked him down and scooped it up within an hour lol.
 
there arnt any good ones here in town. and cl only lets yu browse so far around yu.

and, i wouldnt be able to sell mine by thursday. and it doesnt help that i get paid on friday :/
 
there werent for a few weeks here either. just be patient or you could possibly get a piece. dont rush it. i just happened across mine. youll get one. just keep youre eyes peeled. i looked at all the CL around me including up to 6 hours away lol. luckily this one was only less than an hour. iowa huh?
 
yea, if i had the money for that one, i could get this one that im lookin at.
im gonna eat something real quick and take my car up there to see how much he would give me on trade for that car.
and maybe work something out. i want it so damn bad.
 


to be honest i think your just set on the car because its supercharged and the rails, i really think you should look around a little more for a better one. just my :th_twocents:
 
ok, so ive come to the conclusion i might as well give up trying.
i mean, my car isnt that bad for now, i can stick with it for awhile longer.

but thinking about it, if i do find one like this.

do all gtp's come with hud, sunroof, 6 disc changer, and tinted windows?
not really concerned with the tint but it would save me money from doing it.

and yes eddie, i was set on the rails and supercharger. haha. i mean, come on.
you gotta admit its a sweet deal though right?
 
i could care less about the 6 cd changer personally i changed mine out anyways i know eddies didnt come with a sunroof im pretty sure all gtps come with hud adn there is literally no tint on them stock
 
Once you address your rust..top swap yours and add little stuff like roof rails etc. I wouldn't be so eager to buy a car just for roof rails and a top swap.
 


ok, but top swapping takes time, money, and knowledge of how to do it.
all of which i dont have. let alone a garage to work in. i have street parking.

is it? because the lowest ive seen on here was roughly a grand in all the parts needed.
and i mean, my car has 213,000 miles on it. that cant be good for top swapping.
imo, but hey. i dont know jack about these cars. yu guys are the experts.
 


thats exactly what i was trying to do, but the car is pretty much sold.
so im stuck with my pos gt thats rusting out and has high miles. go me.

literally. hop on cl. iowa as the state, waterloo/cedar falls as the area.
they dont go for cheap around here even if they are pos's.

hell, i saw a 99 gt in the swap sheet today for 3000. 190k. bad tranny.
yea, thats the kind of gps that are around here. im just unlucky i guess
