good deal or not?
i checked rear strut twers, they look good,
there is some rust under the gas door, but that should be an easy fix.
opinions, thoughts are welcome.

might be selling mine to get this one.

I would try to stay under $1500 just because of the mileage and the rust. And is the paint on the hood and front bumper chipped or is it just dirty?

i believe it might be chipped, not sure though.
im gonna try and talk them down a lil,
but im sure it just had some tranny work done because its being sold by a trans rebuilder.
so i mean 2k isnt all that bad,... right?

"only" 170k?

i got my GP for $1600 with 116k

not saying its a bad deal but id say try to get it for $1500

well im of course gonna talk them down.
i mean its alot better then the one i have now.
97 coupe gt with 213k and rotted out strut towers.

im gonna try to trade mine for it, or just sell it.

right now my car isnt that bad, but i miss my old four door.
hate having to let ppl out in a coupe.

and plus, its got everything i wanted to do to my car (rails, tint)

That paint is a pain to take care of. I have the same kind, and if it's not in an always waxed state I feel it looks faded due to my 215k miles:p

Looks nice, It has the rims I want for my car. You should look at the rocker panels, and check that the body panels have matching vin#'s, and of course, check all the fluids, wheel hubs, brakes, floors panels, ect. I think with no rust or body damage, 1,500-1900 is fair.

"Check the body panels have matching vin#'s"... huh?
Not sure what the concern is with that?
It'll be a looooong time before a GTP is worth enough restored to have to worry about matching #'s

haha true.
i wasnt really concerned with that.
i am going to look at it on monday to see what they say.
check it out make sure its running properly and all that.

its got hud, rear dimming mirror, rails, se hood, digital dic, and its a gtp.
iv owned 2 se basemodels (92, 97) and my gurrent gt (97)
id like to upgrade to the gtp (99) i think id be better off,
especially with some go fast parts haha

that hood is stock?? yeah looks like a good deal def talk them down though
That hood is "stock" on 2000 Daytona Ed.,2001 Special Ed. and the 2002 40th, someones added it to that car along with the rails which came on the same cars I listed.
