• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

got a new flare for it. Next is new fender and deck lid

Edit: scratch that next is mirrors. Gonna attempt to repair fender first lol oh and bumper cover

This is my second attempt at the H/D lip spoiler. This time the 3M tape isn't adhering to the rubber lip spoiler...fml.

you shoulda rocked the mismatched seats haha im thinking black for me prolly

No springs anymore on my driver's seat, so I'd rock any color I can find. Junk yard finds are, not surprisingly, junk. Doors left open, so cloth ones are awful. And leather ones are usually gone.

the lower seat comes apart very easy like to be honest, if you can get a good lower seat frame from a JY and then use your foam and cover.

if your foam looks like its been through a bread slicer, you can use rubber cement spray, to close the cuts, then rubber cement a scrap of vinyl over the foam to keep the thin spring lines under the foam so it holds the seat up.

if your foam is thin you can also layer in some new foam from a scrap seat to perk it up some too. some cutting and gluing is needed for that, electric carving knifes work well for cutting foam to btw.

Clean it up really good with rubbing alcohol. Get yourself some 3M 4298 packets from an auto paint supply

Looks like this

Should be about 50 cent to $1 each. Stuff makes 3m tape stick like mad

Drove it to work. Couldn't get off, Damn hackers and their viruses. And dumb people just down load the things. Pissed because it was in the low 70s today and a perfect day to put my valve springs and rockers on.

Washed it with zaino z7 and waxed the hood with zaino z2pro and gave it a well needed vacuum.

Gotta love zaino!

Hmmm. See I had been contemplating getting zaino for some time now, but I was instructed that it was not a replacement for polishing, if that's what the car needs.

SO I figured I'd buy a polisher and meguiars pro products. BUT those are some nice results, kindly share with me your take on the products? :)

Today, I changed my 8k mile old oil. Put in fresh Mobil1 Synthetic and a Wix filter. Should be good to go for a while.

drove it to class. drove home. back to class. then went to the dealer to get a vacuum fitting. They didnt have it in stock, so ill have to go to the other one nearby on wednesday.

All of their products are the best I've used. I used to get a whole bunch of zaino products for free, but the neighbor that supplied me with them moved since. He gives me more when ever I see him now and then.

But yeah buy the Zaino Z-AIO, Z7 and the perfect tire shine. And If you have leather interior get the leather in a bottle. All their products are premium.

Installed stb.definitely not best polishing ive seen compared to others but good enough for me

THATS RIGHT!! Cus a long time ago I asked you about em and you were supposed to find me some stuff :p

Darn. Hate the guy moved. But yeah. I've used zaino's leather stuff before but never the paint care. I just can't decide which would be better, paying for that or paying to get myself set up with a buffer and such.

used the temp button on the climate control for heat, what a treat.

then the low washer fluid light came on. so i topped off the washer tank. it took almost the whole gallon.

Got the H/D lip spoiler on. Discovered the hood stripe I want comes from the Bathurst VXR8. Gonna haffta be custom made. :)
