Best headlights for the money

What is the best headlight/ blub combination for the money. I think it is time for some cosmetic/ upgrade maintenance and I was curious if there is anything out there that is a good option.

well i just bought some ccfl projectors and i bought hid's for them they should be here thursday ill upload pics when i do it but hid for the headlights are h1 bulbs

You asked what the BEST headlight setup is.

A set of brand new housings with morimoto mini h1 projectors retrofitted in (or if you'd rather have better lightout but a much more difficult job FX-R projectors are the best) are the best. As far as looks, a clean MH1 retro will look sexy.

mine as an example...

If you put HIDs in stock OEM style housings at all, I will forever call you ricerboy.

i have HID's im my projectors i got my projectors for free, i would never have choose the clear ones for my GP i think they look kind of ugly IMO but the light output is nice!

really wish i had retros though

^ Yup x2 drive something that has projectors and you'll never go back to HID w/o proj. Trust me I know i'm on my 4th set. Can't stand borrowing someones car without them makes visibility that much harder.

That's a huge improvement, but you'll definitely notice a difference in doing a retro vs ebay projectors as well. Those super sharp super pretty super bright cutoffs, great foreground limiters, and all that extra distance... so worth it.

I you pick up the eBay back ones keep your stock brackets from GM, and put the eBay lights on those that way the lights don't bounce

Yes!! This is the BEST way to go.. Or if needed go to your local junkyard and snag a set.

Ok so, I have HIDs in my stock housings because I have problems seeing at night yet I don't have the money to blow on a retrofit. Am I a ricer boy too?

How much more light is on the road with those hids? And what brand did you go with?
