Re: 1997 Black GTP, So Fresh.

Guess what i bought today?

Another sub.

Im huge into audio and want great sounds so finally i went out and picked up a 12 inch Alpine Type R. amazing sounding sub in my opinion. Can with stand a load of power. Bought it on CL for $70 with an enclosed box. So now im going to pick up a Ported Box, with a 1200 Watt Kenwood Mono Amp, and either a 1.5 or 2 Farad. This thing will hit hard for being only a single

Why a single vs a two 12in you ask? Weight Reduction, b/c racekar.

customize a box and make it go in between the center of your rear seats (pass through) i always wanted to do that

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Quicky Update.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Quicky Update.

Dan, I need an Amp BAD, hook me up? also nice pick up on that Type R, IMO you should do a ported box for that sub though.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Quicky Update.

Fog housings I bought off a random site, but make sure you don't make the mistake of buying plastic lens like I did, get glass lens otherwise the hids will melt the plastic.
