How rude. Use google next time you want advice champ.

You live in chocolate city.

He didn't want the advice we offered. He just wanted to push the wagon wheel agenda.

Disqualified.

I liked this just so i can press unlike.

Let's close this hooptie of a thread already please. :th_thumb-up:

its obviously worthy of being kept open dumba$$. Your not a moderator for a reason, your input is pure negativity. The people that keeping asking for this thread to be closed apparently doesn't like the subject at hand & that's totally fine. But just because you guys feel one way, doesn't qualify it the right way. If i were yall I would simply not even waste my time posting a comment on something I know I'm not interested in, unless you just feel like being a dick then so be it...

As always thanks to the few guys that answered my questions and provided meaningful advice such as the pros and cons.

Youll be able to run a 235 tire on a 8.5 wide wheel no problem, you could go wider if you had the room, but id stick with the 235.

okay thanks... But what if i wanted to not go wider but smaller in width wise. Correct me if I'm wrong but if I have a 8.5 wheel, the formula to calculate to see what tire size I would need is (8.5 x 25.4 = 215). Which is why I asked in one of my previous post could a 215 tire fit or is that too small, width wise?

Whoa, this got pretty crazy.

ok.... so he got the advice he needed, close thread now? k thx

Yeah, I think me and BIO did that on PAGE 1

A 215 tire is too narrow for a 8.5" wide wheel.

235/30 is what you need.

Can we call him Doucheflake 2.5?

Common issue with 97-03 GPs... if u look at ur car, and ur rear end is lower than your front, you're going to need to replace them depending on how much they're sagging. Might make the rear rub. Oh, and I hope u don't use ur backseat much lol.

Oh okay, thanks. Yea i don't use it as much since I'm in school atm, but I drive my car quite a lot... I never planned on putting the 22's on until I compensated my car from them, far brakes, suspensions, etc. etc. i just may try to sale them to make it easier on myself. It sucks because I just bought them, now i may have to sell them.

Would be easier, but a tranny cooler and the 12" brake upgrade really aren't much. They'll also continue to benefit you if/when you take the rims off, and if/when you sell it. In any case, good luck.

His car has the 3800, btw, **** all the unopenminded ones. My bro has 22s on his, he had them for 3 years, no prob other than his decent mileage motor throwing a rod. Do some simple stuff, don't gas it, get some vette or cts calipers/rotors and call it a day. Here is his car, had it for about 4 - 5 years

1 question comes to mind...why is your SN lowridincrew if your cars sit a mile high?...:th_scratchhead:

you guys really should lighten up. The fact that some drivers are okay with a taller wheel set, should be accepted here in this forum. Like we all have the same types of cars, just slightly different models. I've never experienced such a hatred for tall wheels, until I joined the forum. Its pretty sad to be on a forum full of the same cars, but the minute the "popular trend" isn't what someone likes you guys bash on that person. "Nickell" it only takes one person to spoil the bunch and with close-minded post like this, you simply open the door for more negativity. Come on man grow up and respect others sense of style just like you would want someone respecting yours...

there's no point of fighting fire w/ fire.
