2006 grand prix parking lights

I have a 2006 grand prix gt that I have owned since 07 and just recently my parking lights have been coming on and staying on while my car is parked and unattended.... PLEASE HELP!!

Yes I have an alarm.. it hasn't gone off when these incidents occurs. All four times car had been parked in a secure location. Can only get the lights off if I go out and start the car and put it in gear

It could still be intermittant if there is wire damage. Vibration heat and cold can effect wire connectivity. And would only drain battery when the problem was happening. Are you leaving the light switch on auto? If so try turning it off and seeing if that has any effect. Four times over how long a period?
 


If you have factory keyless, and your factory key fob battery is low it will cause the parking lights to remain illuminated if you only hit lock once. If you hit lock twice (enough to hear the horn honk) they will go out.
