Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

See, I sleep like the dead, so I stay sleepy for quite some time. And I just hate mornings, I'm straight up b!tch in the morning times, moody, grumpy, testy, you name it I'm just an ass until coffee and a few hours have passed.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Sorry koscoe, me just don't like mornings. I am my best around 2pm I have found. I peak then and have energy and excitement. And I level off for the rest of the evening. It just takes so frikken long to get out of my morning blah.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Yeah man, I wish I could find a night job, I could work evenings at Supercuts, somewhere else at night, who'd-owl through the night, sleep early mornings, go to class, repeat. I'd like that. But it looks like I'm getting myself into 6am-8pm work days.... Luckily the 6am shifts will only be 2-3 days a week, so figure at least 20 more hours a week, more than enough of what I need.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

I worked 10pm-6am then went home to sleep unti around noon then went to class and would be in class until I had to go back to work. Did this for about a year and a half. That sucked

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Yeah, I don't plan on keeping this up long. I told her when school starts we will just play it by ear, if anything I could do 1-2 days a week of that opening crap.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Friday night, Boyfriend and I were at the mall and I somehow got him to agree to go look at rings. As I could barely hold my excitement in, he sat there like a trooper for an hour and was very involved. Found one we both like. Then on Saturday, I gave him an ultimatum. Propose in 6 months or we're moving on from each other. It's been 6 years, it has come to the time of...you either wanna be with me forever, or ya don't. So, if he's as smart as I think he is.....well, I can only hope.
Whoa... he looked at rings, meaning he's entertaining the idea of being stuck with you forever. Then you smack him with a baseball bat...hmmm not really the tactful way to be suggestive. lol If you wanna be married so badly, propose to him!
Ive been on him for awhile now to sh1t or get off the pot. So, hopefully he does something about it. Like buys that gorgeous ring I fell in love with.
And I will NOT propose to him. He needs to get down on one knee and do it right. His mother proposed to his dad, and yeah. I'm not doing that.

I know I'm a few hours late for this convo, but still. I'm sure he has a reason to not have popped the question, maybe he's just waiting for the right moment.

I agree with Bill, kinda sux to get him into the idea and then bash him with the ultimatum bat and give him 6 months.

I have been with my GF for 5 this Aug, it has been a long time, 1 1/2 years living together and I do plan to get her the ring she wants and pop the question. The only problem is the ring she wants is about 3 grand and I'm stuck behind some loans atm so I can't pull the extra weight on bills (she is a full time nursing student and I work full time supporting us both). But when I can get the loan for the ring and get it in and come up with some brilliant original idea to make her emotions go out the window, she will get her question... until then, she has to wait. But she knows this, we have discussed it.
My best friend's ex-fiancee got her question because during a double date she asked him if he was going to ask her before I asked my GF... OVER DINNER! wasn't a great idea, but about a month later they were engaged and on a cruise ship. Now they are broken up and there is a court battle, i will exclude details.

Im just saying, there is a reason and sometimes the whole ultimatum thing works, sometimes it doesn't. A friend told his woman to kick rocks because she threatened to leave him after 3 years of dating if he didn't pop the question. He said he didn't like being forced into anything and if that was how she felt she could just go. Hope it works for you, but as they say, Patience is a Virtue.
