For the guys commenting on the road course times, how many of you actually race on a road course?

At 196 mph, a mile goes by pretty effin fast. I do agree though, whats the point?

So 10 years in the waiting and it isn't any faster?

Don't try to tell a 5th gen owner that... I prefer to show them. LOL
 
Ford is winning. It's the reason they didn't take bailout money, people actually want their cars and they work. The main reason I went with a Ford over anyone else, is it was the fastest AND least expensive. Plus, the powertrain is identical to its V8 siblings, so I know it can handle power should I care to boost down the road. Camaros give their V6 a crappier manual trans and Dodge won't put a manual in anything that's not a V8. That lost them my money.

There's a guy with the 3.7 about to break into the 12s running basic mods. Most expensive mod he has is the driveshaft.

 
What is the badge on the door?

Looks like a GT emblem to me, but that would mean its a V8, not a V6... so I don't want to be the one to call Shenanigans. Please enlighten me.
 
Custom 3.7 badge. See how the sides of the grill are red? They only did those body color on the V6 models. GT's got darker ones.

I'm not making fun of you, I'm not sure what an 87 GNX has to do with this thread, but I understand you hate mustangs so much that you wanted to make a jab. And FFDP is most likely saying "IDGAF" to this thread because he hates fords probably as much as you do lulz.
