• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Already did a Intro post but needed a new one to clarify a few things!

I am 18, I have a 2004 grand prix GT, I will be starting school soon to be a mechanic, I will ask alot of random questions in different sections just to start gaining more knowledge as I go. I love automobiles and that is why I want them to be my career, I am planning on specializing in GM vehicles (hopefully)! I hope that you can all have patience for my dumb questions and be willing to help out when I need it, I will be on these forums for a long time as I plan on only owning GP as my DD, I love them! I will eventually be making How To and DIY posts and sharing different upgrades/Mods i make on my vehicle as well. Anywho hope to see you all around!! take care and have a great day!

I'm in much the same boat as you, Joesph, except that I can't really afford to go to school to be a mechanic, so I'm picking things up at work, from friends who are mechanics, and books.

Good luck!

welcome. experience is the best teacher. so the best way to learn is to grab a project car and start working on that mofo.

I looked into it at my local library, I am not sure where they got the info they have but they say they dont have "alldata" but they do have some good info, I am looking for an actual book that I can take when I go out of town to look over and study though.
