1986 Grand Prix Feeler

Hello, I see that there is not much discussion regarding older Pontiacs on this forum, however if anyone has any expertise with older Pontiacs I'd love to hear their opinions.

What I have is a 1986 Grand Prix V8 with 200k miles on it. Owned since 1990, prior to that it was a state-owned undercover car. It has the sports suspension package.

Exterior is in bad shape, however the Interior is great. Any Idea on how much I should ask for this?

Car is located in Charlotte, NC

If it runs and drives and everything works I would push for at least $1000. Looks like a straight body so you just need some nice wheels and some fresh paint and it would look great. The interior is always hard to find in good condition on these older cars, if the int is good, ext is easy to clean up.

I was gonna say something to this effect but realistically the number i threw out $800 is all i've seen these go for unless they're exceptionally clean outside and in, have LOW miles, and or are turbo/350 swap

*Bump* I was hoping that it would be worth a little more than 1k! It's a classic! :th_biggrin2:

Any other opinions?

It is a classic body style and since you live in the south you can probably get more the 1k for it but not much more.
