If it sounds to good to be true, especially on the internet or a late night infomertial, then its probably to good to be true.

Short story long the only cheep alternative to a supercharger is maybe NOS.

LoL maybe if you put a hundred of them and tow a power plant it will give you like 1psi of boost.

You can probably buy a used stock gen 3 for about that much money.

I'd reaaly like to just put a 3.8 in my 95 Grand Prix but that's alot of money and for that that much I'd just buy a newer one lol. I would like to find some little cheap things to do to mine to get some power and fuel mileage though while I save up.

Pontiac Grand Prix Supercharger Kit Electric Grand Prix Turbo Charger Bolt On anybody ever tried or looked into one of these? Sounds like one of those to good to be true things but would be nice if it worked.

Well first off, whatever language that site is in is worse than engrish, which should be an immediate indicator not to give them your credit card info. Even ignoring that, first line essentially says 'Hey, your car's unstable? Why not supercharge it!'. Sound like reasonable advice to you?

Regardless of whether or not electric superchargers are worth a damn, I'd stay the hell away from that site.

Lmao yeah so everybody agree just a waste of time then? Any ideas to get some pep out of my 3.1 without breaking the bank? Going to do a cold air intake and exhaust for sure

Maybe you're not as bad as whoever wrote that, and I didn't touch the latter end of your second post for obvious reasons, but I wouldn't hate too much.

Thoes supercharger kits are a bunch of bs. They actually hurt performance above 2500 rpm or so depending on the size of the motor because they always spin at the same speed and around 2500 rpm the engine is starting to draw more air in than the little fan can blow so all you have now is a smaller intake because the fan is taking up space in it. I went to lincoln tech when i was there a kid in the highperformance class ran his civic on the dyno with one of thoes and then the teacher had him take it off and run the car again and it had more power without it above 2500 rpm. and thats on a really small engine so an even bigger engine id guess it would hurt at an even lower rpm

You know what I like more? I like it when I see a Kid has a HonDuhh. And Puts one of those on.

Drives it like they stole it. The bearings go out causing the blades to smack the casing thus causing a catastrophic failure and tiny plastic/metal bits pressed into valve seats and cylinder heads. And they wonder why the car wont run?

That's when you get another one because your car is misfiring
