Halo Projector for 97-03 grandprix

I wanna buy some of those spyder halo projectors for my pontiac, I don't mind buying a HID kit to make them look better but I was just curious if they really do make a difference in the road. Me & my girlfriend drive every weekend from our city to her parents town and we encounter some pretty dark roads and have to drive slower since our stock headlights suck. And I was also curious if the halo headlights use the H1 bulb and the 9005 for there highs?:th_scratchhead:

Post some pics if u guys have some of your headlights

And what light bulb size do yours use? do 2 light bulb fit in there or just the original lightbulb and the turn signal?

04+ has crap output. I love my projectors, better light than hid in oem. weird cut off who cares, I like to see at night

True that, gotta agree with you. I'm gonna purchase some tomorrow wen i get paid, what HID kit are you using on your projector? And is the high beam brighter or not much compared to the low beam?

I used DDM for when I had HID in oem housing, got vvme bulbs in there right now. Ordered 5k and got sent 4300k.

The high beam with the bulb they give u vs HID low there is NO comparison. I can "see" with the halogen highs but thats about it. Aim those projectors to the sweet spot and you should almost not need any highs.

Can't wait to get mine then, & yea I been seeing that vvme are the HIDs that are good. Did you get the H1 for the low beam? finally no getting off the line anymore:cool:
I see you have some different fogs on your default. What kind of fogs are those?

Same as stock.

So its the, stock turn signal. 9005 bulb for the high beams? and a h1 low beam HID kit?
Do the low & high beam bulbs come or no bulbs come ?
What can I do to keep them from fogging and will I need anything like plastic films to protect anything? Weather stripping to level it?

Oh and hey, what's the difference between CCFL and dual halo projectors.. I seen both on this page and one includes the CCFL. But they cost more so what's so special about them because to me they look the same as the other once without the CCFL

Turn signal is like 3457All, make sure the bulb is orange.

Parking light is 194, mine had clear so I had to go out and get amber (194A) 194R is red.

CCFL and dual halos are what the rings are.

Mine havent fogged yet, but you can run a bead of silicone around the edge where the lens meets the housing.

I put some stripping under mine, they bounced a little more than my oem housings so its not a big deal for me.

Mine came with bulbs, I suggest HIDS and not to use the pos halogens.

DDM's are good. I run all DDM except for the bulbs. One day Ill be ordering 5k from DDM since VVME sent me the wrong kelvin. Yes I have the H1 HID's for the lows.

The fogs in my pic are advance auto "blazer" 4" glass universal fog lights.

the ccfl are a neon type of ring where as the other projector rings use 2 leds per ring so the notice of the ring on doesnt light up as much as the ccfl. Youtube Grand prix projectors and its the one with the green car comparing the 2

they should come with low & high beams and wire to hook it up plug and play type of thing. from fogging i would add a layer of rtv black silicone all around the housing were it mates to the lens and seal it as well as you can. as far as leveling i have no idea i have them but never hooked them up to my car.

Yea I seen some people driving with the white turn signal. looks better amber. And yea I will run that silicone to protect against fogging, Yeah I'm ordering a set of HID's since the kit I'm buying doesn't come wit HID's. Thanks alot. Can't wait to get my halo headlights
