Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

so scared now i dnt know wat to do

I really hope you learn from this. In Missouri at 17 you and your parents could face charges. I lost an Aunt and Uncle at the same time to a drunk driver. I am so glad no one was injured but take this as a life lesson, a free be, a gimme. Call a friend, family or a cab (or just walk!). I take it you have never experienced the aftermath of being on the other side of a drunk driver? Hope you never have to but please please please never put yourself in that situation again!

^^^Agreed with Streetwolf.....I think R&D/C&R, DUI,Suspension of license, and probation would suit him just fine, at least charge him with that and at least the last 2 charges stick, I dont want him to ruin his life so young, but he's got to learn there are other people on the road and alcohol and driving NEVER mix!

well that was dumb. My friend got arrested hes 20 and he blew a .01 or .02. Luckily he didnt throw the book at him. He lost his liscence for 30 days which is nothing 1st offense is nothing but once you get a 3rd offence you loose your liscence for life. The fines are what gets you (in the thousands) make sure you get a lawyer. Cops and the courts are only looking to make money. My friend got a underage driving under the influence which is a slap on the wrist, he didnt get a DWI because technically he was still below the limit In other words if he was 21 they would have said "have a nice night". Its not that bad. I just dont drive when i drink. I dont want to have someones death on my concious all my life if its my own for something that is stupid and eaisily avoided. Your only 17 if your gonna drink or w/e just stay in dont be driving around. At least thats what i did.

P.S sounds like you need better friends...

you guys are really harsh. if you dont learn how to drink before youre 21 then youre just straight up dumb.

a .02 is barely even drinking. thats like drinking 1/4 of a beer.

drinking AND driving on the other hand is something you take a chance at if youre really going to. i cant say that i dont do it. in fact, i do it a lot. *knock on wood* you just have to know when youre good enough to drive. being underage doesnt help your cause because you dont have the .08 buffer.

i noand that night i was not out to hurt anyone if anyone got hurt i was hoping it would be me now im over i guess il face the fuc@@@ charges watever they give me i dnt no probathion hasnt called yet dnt no when they will hopefully soon.i mean i guess i wasnt thinking abhout the charges at the time just havin fun clearing my head listen to the radio parked foir the main part i was goin home when i got pulled over a fin half mile from my house is where i was

OK I hope either way you learned a lesson. Most all of us drank under age. I made some really dumb choices and luckily didnt have to learn a lesson the hard way. Its a game of russian roulette. One day your number will come up in a bad way.
Bottom line the cop was doing his/her job. drinking under age isnt the big issue here. getting behind the wheel is. Of course you didnt get behind the whell to hurt anyone, BUT if you have an accident wether its your fault or not you are screwed if you have booze in your system. Most everyone has known or lost someone in a drunk driving accident. People do not show mercy and neither do judges with these things. They should'nt, getting behind the wheel after drinkng even if only a few beers is absolutely unacceptable.
Think before you drive. Crap like this can haunt you for the rest of your life. In some states you are putting your parents at risk too. They can be sued for your irresponsible actions. There is no arguement that it is ever ok to drive drunk. Call a friend, call mom/dad, walk home if you have to. Just dont drive!

no its not when i was drinkin i was in the country no one with me i was just tryin to clear my head about my ex we just broke up last night. but off the subject the backseat of a cop car is actully nice aleast the one i rode in was

Dang................. :th_shakinghead1:

If that is your attitude and your lame arse excuse to drink cause of a stupid woman? Shallow is all I can say. You can NOT justify your drinking in any kind of way! PERIOD!!

Grow a pair and admit you frakked up!! And maybe............

Just maybe........................

DONT DO IT AGAIN!

Bio,

I am shocked you would condone what he did. So basically what you are saying its ok to drink underage, and then get behind the wheel of a car? And where is it written that you need to "learn" to drink before you are 21? And the comment about if you don't learn to drink before 21 is straight up jacka$$.

" cant say that i dont do it. in fact, i do it a lot. *knock on wood* you just have to know when youre good enough to drive." OMG How the hell do you even comment on that statement. Unreal! Simply Unreal!

I hate turning this on you, but your comments are why there is more and more teen age deaths and DUI involvements in the US today with that kind of mind set you possess.

Shame on you. :th_shakinghead1:

Your a f*cking dumb ass too.

ill never put myself in a situation that i cant control. i know when i stop drinking if im going to be driving. whether or not that limit is enough to be below the legal limit, i have no idea since i dont exactly carry a breathalyser on me.

and the comment about learning how to drink is purely based on people that dont know when to stop. you have to work your way up before you know what you can and cannot handle. im a firm believer that the legal limit should be 18 years old just like everything else in this country. alcohol is something that you need to learn how to use and to keep it responsible.

and wolf, shut up. no one asked your opinion on my character and choices. im far better off than 3/4 of the people i know in this life and im okay with what i do on my free time. it's not for you or anyone to judge except for me.

Yeah, your right. It's not my place to judge you.

It's the Judge's place to judge you when you f*ck up. Good luck with that.

i see ur point that ur tryin to make...ok lets say u can drink a 12 pack and not get "drunk" when the night is over u get in car and drive home ...u get in a car wreck and kill someone...ur goin to jail for alongggggggg time...whether u thought u were drunk or not.i hope i made sense.

im from WI. i enjoy a drink..probably more than the average man, but that's why ive been learning to drink for the past 5 years of my life.

im over the legal age, but its not stopping me from blowing over the weak .08 limit. i dont drive hammered. its something i avoid.

What this comes down to boys and girls....is if you're big enough to make your own decisions, you're big enough to deal with the result of your decisions.

I'm willing to bet that most of us drank before we were 21.....so that is a pointless argument.

I however, can't side with anyone on the drinking and driving issue. I've made it home once in this case....when I should have stayed where I was at. That was 7 years ago, and I haven't done that since. I try to be responsible to myself and my family now. Because my life isn't the only thing my decisions affect.

i hear ya but .08 is like 2 beers i can drink a 6 pack and not b buzzed...just saying that even if ur not "buzzed"... the law says u are.My moms friend is doin 15 yrs on a felony dui.She wasnt "drunk" and now shes sittin in prison.Because she crossed center line and hit a guy head on while looking for a cigarette lighter....had she not been drinking chances are she wouldnt be in prison for that long.
