Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Anyone personally know Robert from Sinister Drag Designs?

It's been over 60 days since I've sent payment for a turbo from him, and I've heard no contact in over 15 days. I've called and emailed with no responses from him. I would have filed a claim with paypal, but it's been over 45 days(payment sent on the 21st of march) and I made the mistake of thinking you needed to file AFTER 45 days not before. An oversight on my part, I know. I'm taking steps to file a complaint with the states attorney's office, whom my stepfather works for and hopefully that gets things in motion. I'm hoping someone on here personally knows him and maybe mention this to him to avoid any legal action against him and refund my payment. My stepfather emailed him, and so far no response. If you guys could help me out, it's be a huge help. I kept all my emails to and from him, including Robert saying he got the payment from paypal.

You aren't the only one with terrible customer service experience. I posted awhile back about it and mine was just about a vacuum block I ordered. Placed an order and didn't receive it after 2 weeks of waiting. Emailed them twice with in a week and i didnt get a response. Then I called and got a hold of someone who said they would look into it and call me back, they never did. Called them 3 days later and left a message. Called them again 2 days later and left another message. No response via email or phone. The block finally arrived the following week right before I was going to dispute with PayPal. I was planning on ordering an upgraded turbo through them but after my experience and seeing your post it has reassured me that would be a terrible idea.

Good luck!

An update:

I called my CC company about the balance that I put on it from PP. They'll need the paperwork from me to dispute the $5XX that was put on the card(total was $731, the rest was paid by funds in my PP account) but it looks like they'll dispute it for me. I'll also be talking with somebody tomorrow from the state about this, so Hopefully this will get the ball rolling on getting my money back. I'm not going down without a fight, that's for damn sure.

Well from what I'm told by my sources, Chicago PD went to Roberts legal address and found the place to be cleared out, so this guy seems to be on the run. Please spread the word to any forum you're on, I'd rather be the only one to get screwed over by him then have other people make the same mistake. Thank you. I'll be filing my paperwork to my CC company and I'll see if I can get most of my money back.

Oh ****... What a ****tard! Hope his vendor status gets pulled if it hasn't been done so already.

we are going to weed out a few inactive ones. don't worry about it as far as their vendor status goes.

Update. I got the $536.14 charged to my CC back today, the company credited me the amount that was charged to my CC. However it looks like the $196.xx that was taken out of PP is going to be my "loss" of this ordeal. I suppose it could have been worse.

so you were still ****ed by this guy.

For now, yes. However I got an email from PP saying they received a dispute from my CC company, and that they're Looking into doing something on their end for me. So I'll see what happens.

Damn man. Definitely could have been worse. Glad to hear you got a chunk of that money back through.

Yeah, thanks.

Lol @ ES.
