what do you mean a full sized intercooler? i thoguht the only intercooler i cuold get was one that is inbetween he intake manifold and the supercharger, is there any other types for a supercharger?
wont be so bad on gas
The intercooler would be a huge amount of cash and time, It is a supporting mod for a smaller pulley, but without other mods (like the smaller pulley) you are spending lots of money to stay at the same power level..... and the smaller pulleys get the same gas mileage(if you drive the same) if not better with a good tune
I pulled off a 2.8 pulley with no IC.:th_tongue2:
If your worried about gas prices or the amount of gas you use stop modding...better yet...don't start.
you sound like a person that drives a V-6 convertible mustang just to say he has a mustang, but then you get smoked but a GTP :th_sign-pontiacs:
thats why i chose an intercooler, it would give me lots of power and it wouldn't kill my gas.
Actually just the opposite. I own a v6 Pontiac and smoke 13 second cobra's.
And I own a v8 mustang not a v6 :th_thumbsup-wink:
Sabrewings has got what I'm talking about. And I also agree with you 100%Iron Indian. I never made the mistake of buying the SS but I'm glad i didn't.:th_biggrin2:
well i had taken off all of the intake and i was going to remove the throttle body and some fluid shot out so i quickly tightened it back up. what was it that came out? the only thing i could think of is supercharger oil, but I'm not sure, the fluid was clear. any ideas? thanks![]()
Coolant.
You do realize that some things like gaskets can only be used once, right? So, when you get ready to take stuff apart, make sure you have new gaskets ready.
