can you make supercharger have turbo blowoff sound?

I personally like the Turbo Blowoff valve sound

Is there a way you can make a supercharged 3800 have the same sound when you let off the gas while in boost?

The car returns the air back into the intake correct? so that means the pcm is expecting that and calcuclates the air/fuel for the extra air? so would making the extra pressure blowoff into the atmostphere mess with the air/fuel?

the short answer is no on a roots style supercharger you cant no excess pressure builds up because theres no piping between the s/c and the engine but on a centrifugal s/c where there is piping between the blower and the motor you could have a BOV to release excess pressure we just put one on a mustang gt that we supercharged it doesnt sound exactly the same as a turbo BOV

Those that drive like jackasses, rev, or make BOV/whine noises to intemidate usually are the slow ones. The ones that are truly "fast" don't have to brag let alone "make their presence known." They are the ones that should make you the most nervous or intimidated.
 


OMG!!! LMAO funny I came across this thread today.. I took my Firebird to the drag strip last night and saw a Honday Civic Hatch running. OMG this car had one of those suicide bomber kamikaze body kit thingys on it, huge wing below and above the hatch window, no front bumper BUT HUGE polished intercooler, and the camber was so bad on the front tires that he was riding on the inside edges!!! LMFAO OMG he parked, popped his hood, had a huge turbo on it, polished piping, hell under the hood was cleaner and painted up better then the car was. I thought hmm.. I should have known better, his best time in the 1/8th was 15.46, but at least his BOV sounded good... ;)
 
No, I was surprised to!!!! He was running 15.46 - 16.02.... I forgot the mph's he was running, but yeah that was his times in the 1/8...
