adjusting dwell in tiny tuner... anyone done this?

Z34Phoenix

Florida Tuner
SO... I was playing around in tiny tuner and notice we have access to adjusting the dwell of the spark in Tiny Tuner. has anyone done this? it seems most of the tables are zeroed out. but it has one where when battery voltage drops the dwell increases. i wonder if this could be used for something? I had a friend who had a MSD DIS-6 box and was saying how he could get it to fire the plugs longer shorter and even multiple times. i guess this could help if running lots of fuel or maybe e85? when its harder to light off the mix.

Yes very fun read thank you Matt.

It seemed like they were on to something... until i finished reading it all. seems it wont do anything... at least for the lsx people. as it just helps charge the coils faster and possibly burn them out. and that one or two of them tried it and saw no gains. seeing as our engines have pushed very high HP numbers on stock ignition... it doesnt seem as we have any short comings that this could solve.

the thing is, when i look at dwell info for my 98 Z34 bin it seems all the data is zeroed out. the only tables with values are when very low on voltage IIRC. is this correct? seems odd that all these tables would be showing Zero. maybe these dwell tables arent mapped right in TT? can anyone see the info in HPT and confirm?

About a year ago i tried boogering with it to aid cold morning starts with e85.
I thought it would have helped, but a lack of consistency(outside temp alcohol content ect) made me quit. I decied to run an optima instead lol.
