I have a 2005 GTP Comp G and recently the "service traction control & service stability system" light has been coming on, when i drive the car it stumbles then drives normal afterwards, everytime i stop at a light and pull off it stumbles & either the stability active light comes on or the service stability system light comes on and the traction control light is always on is there an indiviual module for both systems or do they operate as one? I really need to know because I need this fixed ASAP

I am sorry to hear of your frustration. If the lights stay on, there is something wrong with the traction control or stability system. I strongly encourage you to visit your dealer for service. They should be able to pinpoint the problem and offer a more accurate resolution. Please keep us posted. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

put it on an abs scanner. should cost all of 80. idk whether or not 04+'s have the ebcm problem.

they very much so can have the problem.

get it scanned like they said. most abs scanners work fine, but in my case i had to go to the dealer and let them put it on a tech II which said ebcm is bad. which makes since that the other abs scanners said "cannot find codes" because if the computer that stores the codes is bad, then of course its not gonna sync up with the scanner. so if you find a local shop with an abs scanner and they say "hm weirdest thing cant even read the codes" then it could be ebcm, to which i recommend modulemaster.

my bet is on a wheel speed sensor in the hub like they're saying, that's the most common issue. and an easy fix :D

but with the sensor, youll find its easier to fix the whole hub assembly as the sensors are too overpriced and you figure your better off spending alittle more and being even safer

tis correct. may i recommend timken and timken only? that seems to be the consensus here. i myself got timken hubs from rockauto (way better price than AZ or something) and they're doing just fine.

brandon brandon brandon....lol timken aint the best bearing around anymore. theyre not US made anymore, but rockauto does have kickass prices. i dont even use my employee discount anymore at advance because i have my boss price match everything i buy haha
