Hey guys! I own a 2004 pontiac grand prix gt. i was wanting to remove my air intake box and add a cone filter. as i removed the cover for my intake box i notice a electronic box inside. does anyone know what it is and where i can place it so i can remove the whole entire box? i currently have the other half still attached until i figure out what to do with that computer thing located inside. Any help would be appreciated! thank you!

thats your pcm, take it out of the bottom of the box, remove the box, and zip tie it or just lay it on the flat area where the box was. mine is just laying there, it dont move.

^^ The car's computer. Like scotty said, just set it there, or zip-tie it in place. They are designed to get wet, be hot/cold and all that jazz, so no worries there.

also im new to this forum and would like to add pictures of my car to my profile but got an error that my pictures are too big. any one know how to fix that to where i can upload?

Make a members rides thread.

You have to use a photo sharing website like photobucket. Uploading from your computer will not work. Then just copy the direct link the picture uploaded, its 3 right of the smiley face.

You won't see much of a gain from the air intake until the exhaust is modified as well, very least replace the front exhaust manifold with a PLOG as its the most restrictive.
