my dad has had Three f-350's all with the 7.3 diesel made them all go over 1 million mile each.then sold the truck running safetied and etested. He sold them after a million miles cause cops see how many miles the truck has and dont let him leave mto station without find some kind of "issue" he is working on driving his 4th truck, all trucks were used to haul trailers(the ones family's goes camping with, huge ones) with a 5th wheel.
Doesnt ford have the fastest v8 production motor atm with the newest gt500? pwning all them camaro fans, and keeping up with the vetts? for like half the price also :th_tongue2:
Ford has made some horrible engines, but hasnt each brand?
look at our car, put a reliable engine mated with the most unreliable tranny, good job gm/pontiac! how about Chrysler's 2.7l and their oils sludge issues lols.
Ford has been up and down but if i were to go with a new car/truck/anything it would be a ford.
 


The 7.3 is an International Engine. Ford still can't build a trans that will last, and to the idiot that is willing to tolerate a twin I beam 350 chassis for a million miles, he got what he deserves. Post up proof of said million miles while you're at it, Cat and Petes rarely see that on OTR rigs.

thats right ford diesels are international built. and why they last so long. its not a gas converted engine like a lot of them were in the 80's and early 90's.

and i've seen a clutch last 1 million miles on a pete. the radiator failed before the clutch lol the engine started to show copper in the oil test, so the bottom end got rebuilt at 1.5 million miles. truck is still on the road lol and it is a OTR truck.

Uh, my buddy sled pulls weekly with a 6.0l psd. S472, 330cc hybrid injectors, fully built rev motor that makes between 750-800 rwhp. STOCK tranny.

Like GM never made a bad design on any component, ever. :rolleyes:

My buddy leased a tbss when they first came out. 7k miles into it the Trans was doing everything but what it was supposed to. Completely stock truck. all the brands have made a mistake or two.

As for posting proof sorry wasn't thinking when I saw over a million km on the 2 trucks to snap a picture just in case internet people don't believe me, last thing I'm worried about is internet "cred" lol.

Maybe because v6 mustangs until 2011 weren't anything? And bragging about killing one is kinda lame? Go play with a v8 stang. I'm no ford lover but I'll have to say my mustang had 130k on it and rode nicer, handled better, and the interior wasn't falling to pieces like my gp is.
