Need For Speed Most Wanted

You guys forgot

I have them all, played them all... moved on to better things lol
FORZA FTW!

So no one here played NFS 3/4/5 right?

lol?

NFS: PU was probably the 2nd best NFS game...since I'm a Porsche nuthugger...I loved every minute of it. Along with the proving grounds to become the "top Porsche test driver"...sh1t was fun.

I'm going with TLSheff here, Forza FTW, never tried Gran Tursimo but I heard it's similar. Once you play a racing game that's more simulator driven than arcade style you just can't have fun with games like NFS anymore, you suddenly realize just how unrealistic the speed is, and especially the handling. Take a 90 degree turn at 90 mph? No problem!

Which that's a good and a bad thing, I did LOVE NFS back when i played it.

Forza introduced the rewind feature which finally allowed me to get into it and eventually turn off all the assists, nothing was worse in the old games than playing a long track and after 5 laps screwing up and having to start ALL OVER.

the original Most Wanted was the best. Underground 2 a close second, and the new one The Run was pretty darn good

that's exaclty why i want to play it. sim games are lame. understeer is for the real world. 180 mph drifts are for video games.

Gran Turismo was king until the crash of GT5. It was miles ahead of any other simulator when it came out and proceeded to wipe the floor of all other racing games in simulation mode until GT4. GT4 was point for point on que with Forza and it was a rival of epic proportions. People like me that loved both even had a hard time picking a winner. But when GT5 came out with a demo instead of the real game... Forza walked them. GT5 is still great, but Forza is walking them hardcore with F4. My buddy is a die-hard GT fan and even he will admit they failed horrendously with GT5.

But I do agree with Bio too. I love Forza for the realism, but NFS has me for life due to the "BAHAHAHA did you see that?" moments. Love me some stupid impossible high speed drifting and see'ing how many times you can roll the car and land back on the wheels and keep going (for the games that allow rollovers). Its just in good fun, and that's really what its about.
