Eddie's 1952 Ford F-1

Re: Eddie's 1952 Ford F-1 "VIDEO ADDED"

Very nice so far. So sandblast, primer, and what color?

Yep... definitely needs to be layin frame. You can bag those trucks and get em to tuck a big wheel/tire combo pretty easily. Even a 18/20 combo would look sharp. Mustang II front end, 3 link rear, no inner wheel wells and a bit of fab work. haha. It would look sweet ratted out too with some old skool patina paint on the doors and what not. But then again, your ride, your choice. Judging on how your car is comin, the truck will turn out good too. Keep it up man! I like it!

thanks guys yea eventually its going to get a full restoration im not in a rush to restore it i just want to drive it, me and my dad are doing it together so im not gonna put it on bags or anything because hes not into all that plus its not in to bad of shape so i dont want to cut it up or anything. if i do a ratrod its gonna be a 1927-31 Ford tudor model A. im not sure of a color yet so for now im going to go to get some black paint and just throw it on maybe knock down some of the rust but im just gonna do the black for now to hide most of the holes in the body, like i said i just wanna drive it for a little so i want it to look a little presentable no rush to tear it down ya know lol. but dont get me wrong i have the skills to do it id just like to drive it for a while.

Just for the love of god keep a Ford powertrain in it. I walk right by the Fords with Chevy engines in them, including LSx's. Which is funny because I think old Chevys with LS's in them are awesome. lol

Sweet truck!

I have a 1940 ford truck i've not been working on for the last two years... lol been too busy fixin other peoples crap. Should go out and buy a streetrodder magizine. lots of good articles in them. I wouldn't ratrod er anything... maybe a touch lower with some WIDE whitewalls. Find some equaly ruff center caps and beauty rings for the stock rims.... that'd be nice!

My buddy has a 56 F600, used to be an old grain truck that got converted into a trailer hauler. Thing is a beast.

found out yesterday that my wife's parents didn't sell the '52 chevy pickup, they moved it to another spot so they had room for their painting since they are re-siding their house. it is still available to me! you may have competition in the future. ;)

Wow I'm crazy jelly. Although I don't agree with the whole keep it original attitude it's still very perdy.

Restorations are always nice, take it back to the "like new" point.

But you can't disagree... Muscle has more appeal. An aggressive look is where it's at.

^ Really partial to the Green on Chrome look with the 52 model... just sayin.

i dont want to keep it to original just dont wanna chop it up too much because its in decent shape

I absolutely agree. Like new is cool, but it's prude ish IMO.

Drop- in, drop- it, drop- jaws.

it will probably get lowered in the future but not slammed lol

theres a guy on a street near me with the same exact year/model/color of ur truck ed, he was parked on waldamire and redlion road
