• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

So random question.. Backed the corvette out of the garage to adjust headlights on the truck... Ground twice trying to go into reverse. Pumped the clutch a bunch of times and it worked okay. Just had the master cylinder replaced which was causing it to be like this before. It feels like it felt right before it wouldn't go into gear at all. Like the clutch is starting to engage with the pedal an inch off the floor instead of 5 inches off the floor. Anybody know what might be the problem? It's an 84 and it's the stupid 4+3

try putting it in 1 st gear first then in reverse. could be a sycro going bad. opening up 1 st and then going into reverse will some time clear it so it go in like normal.

or the master is going on you again, i hate hydraulic clutches. wheres my Z bar!

this post is relevant to how my car acts on first start up sometimes. clutch is on the floor and the thing snaps right into reverse. my clutch is tighter than a virgin though, it's supposed to engage an inch off the floor

speaking of gmc i need to bring my 2010 terrain in for the nav and clock acting up, on a good note cleaned my new baby lol

So far only had cosmetic problems with the Acadia. But do change the oil often, I use 50%. It's a dirty engine.

Pulled the Engine back put of the car. On a good note from the time I picked up a wrench to the time the engine was on the stand was 2hrs & 10mins.. I thought that was pretty good time. Now for the complete rebuild.

No syncro for reverse?

It's not the hubs. Its the wiring harness that leads into the hub. the passanger side I fixed a few years ago and knew the driver side would go bad sometime. Now is the time. I just don't have the cash to fix it. i really don't want to go the junk yard to get a used one. i would rather buy a new one.

^^^wheel speed sensor lol

I hear it's a love or hate with the Acadia we got the 12 so hopefully the timing chain problem is fixed

there's also a recall for the headlight bulb connectors. congrats on your purchase though, and i hope you enjoy it. did i mention change the oil often?
