Tire Air Pressure?

Ok, I have a 97 Grand Prix that I got a couple months ago. My Tire Air Pressure Warning is on so I put some air in all tires at 35 psi. The warning light was still on so I put 40psi in each tire but its still on. My tires say 44 psi on them so how much should I be putting in them?

Well if your tires say 44 PSI.... Then put 44 PSI in. And to reset it there is a little button on the bottom of the drivers side dash near the cent console by the radio. It is yellow... Just press and hold for a few seconds.

The tire pressure spec is located on the driver side door, near the door latch. It recommends 35 psi.:th_thumbsup-wink:

yeah dont put 44psi in them, the psi number on the tire is pretty much what its rated for, you should go off it says inside the drivers door!

You can run what ever ya want in them, the warning light is just based off revs per mile on your car, so if they are the same it will stay off. I normally run about 40 psi.

44 PSI is the maximum the tire is rated for.

35 PSI is a nice compromise between ride and fuel economy.

29 PSI for 97-03 IIRC.
