Drive for us to the hotel from Wichita, KS was around 5 hours I believe. But in a caravan, and listening to good music the whole way it only felt like 2.5-3 hours for me.

That's what I get for knowing the cars and not the people's faces. Was looking for the GP not the TL and was so busy/distracted that I never got to talk to him (or quite a few members) or get my fenders rolled. That was Coltrane's HUD image though his windshield. He was trying to keep up. I sure hope he goes this year, Grand Prix or not, hes fun to hang out with.
lucky ya'll it'd be a long trip for me i can't afford to come this sucks :-(
i just hope that if i do go i can keep up cause right now there is no way my car will do that maybe in about two three months.
filled out the reservation form online...now I just gotta wait for them to call and confirm it...
Don't worry, not everyone is going mach 1. I was alright last year, but my right ear hurt a few times from my proximity sensor (wife) going off unnecessarily. 2 or 3 months, well you have 8 so you're covered.
Good to see you got it in. I just called them when I did mine, a couple minutes and done. There's already quite a few that have reservations in. I'm very happy to see people committing to this early.
It makes it way easier on the organizers and sponsors when they can see that and not as much up in the air. Same with when registration opens in May, sign up as early as possible. It's good to have everyone there, but makes it alot smoother for them and the event if they can have everyone in early and be better prepared. I'm excited about the early showing and think this is gonna be an even better event than 2006/07.
Haven't decided when we will be getting there on Wednesday ourselves. I know we want to go a day early so we can go do a bunch of stuff around town on our own before the event starts. Stuff we have been eye balling to do for the past 2 years now we have gone to Branson for the GP Meet, but never had time to do it.
I'm booking our room tomorrow.
