OP, i went to a catholic prep school so i know how you feel. I can tell you it only gets worse when you get older. Instead of buying cars mommy and daddy buy their kids houses and get them jobs.
Focus on living and enjoying life and family, its something you can easily have thats much richer than anyone else.
Well like I said. I couldn't care less about these other kids. The moral of the rant was to not shove it in other kids faces and call their cars a POS, especially when your parents bought you your car. Again, I don't care. It Dosn't piss me off that they get new/er cars, it just pisses me off when they call my car a POS. And Yeah, the most expensive car in my school lot is probably a 7.3 f350. or maybe a chrysler 300, IDK.
The people that usually ***** about others getting things handed to them are the people who are secretly jealous.
Get over yourselves, some ppl have it better than others, deal with it.

im 17 and i bought my car and pay for gas and insurance and parts and everything. its my third vehicle cuz my first one $hit out on me and my dad kinda took over my truck after he totaled his and just gave me money for it. meanwhile my parents just bought my sister her first car they pay for her gas and insurance. Does this make sense to anone at all? Or am i just a f*** tard
Let's read a little bit. I said I don't care that they get shi^t handed to them. What pisses me off is when they shove it in your face and call your vehical a POS. I could have had mom and dad HELP buy me a car, but instead I bought my GP for $350 from my aunt because it didn't run and my cousin recked it. I didn't have to buy it. But I wanted something I could call mine, and with a little bit of work, she runs good as new.
or laugh when they wreck their super awsome car that was handed to them
What's wrong with taking pride in something YOU worked for and YOU paid for? The sense of entitlement is what's wrong with this country these days. Every parent wants to give their child everything they want....but is that a good thing?Wow Congrats, you bought a $350 piece of junk instead of being gracious and accepting your parents help in buying a car. You want a cookie, or a trophy?
You realize you're JUST as bad as the rich kid who brags about the 5 series mom and dad just bought him. Except you have a chip on your shoulder about buying a junker for a few hundred bucks.

Thats not what the OP was saying.....quite the contrary, in fact. He was talking about the people that rub their parent bought cars in his face.Simply, the fact that people who DO pay for their own stuff feel they deserve praise for doing so.
This, I agree with completely. You should'nt look for a reward for doing the right thing, you should look for a punishment for doing the wrong thing.I say, the need for today's youth to be praised for doing the regular, right thing is out of hand, and contributes greatly to the downfall of this country.
