Is there a way to stop a windshield crack from spreading?

I was looking my car over and noticed a crack on the windshield. It is down low by the bottom tint on the driver's side. Is there anything I can do to seal it or stop it from spreading?:(

Cracks will always spread.

You can only stop a big rock chip from spreading with that special sealant crap those glass guys use.


I got glass coverage for this very reason, cost me 6 bucks a year lol.
 
Mine did the same **** on my 01GT started out as a crack the size of my pinky and turned into a crack that went all the way across the windshield. I had full glass but never felt like getting it fixed.
